F.A.Q.
What should I NOT bring?
Absolutely NO:
We recommend:
Absolutely NO:
- Alcohol or drugs.
- No dangerous items or devices. Examples: knives, real or toy guns, and such.
- A paintball gun that you don't know how to use (clean, fix, or chronograph). You'll have more fun and less grief using ours.
- Your own paintballs. Paintballs must be purchased from us. Field paintballs only. Our paintballs do not stain.
We recommend:
- Dress in layers, so you can adjust your own comfort level.
- Long pants, as we provide a camouflage top only.
- Because you will get dirty, you need old clothes or something you wouldn't mind getting dirty. You will be crawling through the bush.
- Hiking boots or High Tops are preferred for ankle support and traction.
- Pick colors which will blend in with bush; RED, YELLOW & WHITE DON'T WORK!
- Light gloves for hand protection. We sell camouflage cloth gloves for $5 a pair, that work great. If you bring a too heavy pair of gloves, you might have to remove the trigger finger to fit inside the trigger guard.
- Groin protection for males.
- A camera, if you want pictures of your day. We do take pictures through out the day and post them on FaceBook later.
- A change of clothes for the trip home.
- A signed permission note if you are 15 and under and are not being accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Potential Bookings Remember to contact us at least one week before your group would like to come out.

On "Open Days", we mix everybody that comes out to play into 2 large teams (hopefully balanced for experience & firepower). Most of the players on "Open Days" have their own equipment. We also run at least 2 Night Games a year, which are "Open Days". "Pump, Pistol or Mag Only Days" are popular too, and only Pump, Pistol or Mag Fed Markers are allowed (once a month on Sat. Evenings)

Who plays paintball and why?
- Everybody who wants to have a great time, and is over 10 years old.
- Paintball is a sport where women and men compete equally and where age is not dominated by youth.
- Size and strength are not as important as intelligence and determination.
- Major corporations send executives to play because it teaches: quick thinking, strategy, planning, team work, self-esteem, leadership skills, motivation, trust, communication, co-operation, problem solving and it relieves stress.
- And it's FUN!
What is a Paintball?
- A paintball is a marble sized sphere (0.68 caliber).
- The paint inside is non-toxic, non caustic, water-soluble and biodegradable.
- Colors of the paint varies, but red & blue are banned from the field.
- The gelatin cover is just like a vitamin capsule (most paintballs are manufactured by pharmaceutical companies).
- On impact, the paintball splits open and splatters the paint on the target.
- The paint rinses out of clothing and off skin with mild soap and water.
- A player who is marked is eliminated from the game.
- A specially designed "air" powered marker, which can hold 200 paintballs and can fire them semi automatic (one shot per tigger pull) up to 10 balls per second. Some paintball markers are pump action.
- The paintball markers used at Paintball Paradise are Vibe semi-automatics.
- Field speed limit on the paintballs is 270 f.p.s. (feet per second), which is 30 f.p.s. slower than most fields.
- A field limit of 10 b.p.s. (ball per second)
- All paintballs markers must be radar chronographed (speed tested) to under 270 f.p.s.
- Not likely, because of the adrenaline in your blood and the safety equipment worn to protect you.
- Safety equipment includes: Special Paintball Impact-proof Goggles that protect the eyes & ears, head wrap & camouflage jacket.
- However; at close range sometimes they will leave a minor bruise and may feel like a mild bee sting.
- Paintball is one of the safest sports, when proper protective equipment is used. This means only paintball approved goggles. CRBN, JT, Virtue manufacture proper paintball goggles, however; some make goggles for other uses which are no good for paintball.
