This reminds me to get an aerial picture from my drone this year. I do have a pilot license for my drone so I can do my my forensic agrology work, looking at damaged fields for farmers, insurance companies and lawyers.
We keep making changes and additions every year, as we grow. We have 2 dugouts in the slough now, so we have better irrigation water for our pumpkins, and some of our orchards, plus some rainbow trout. We grow sunflowers now too, and our sunflower bowl is looking amazing in the summer during bloom. The parking lot has expanded, and we are adding a new exit driveway this year, to reduce traffic congestion while coming and going for our Haunt. It's amazing to note that all the willow trees around the slough were planted 29 years ago, as well as lilacs on the outside of the Big and Small fields. 1,500 trees in 1994. We keep adding more trees, almost every year too. Hopefully, we get our Phantom Light Ghost attraction going for this fall, and we are really excited about that too. ![]() We are doing a bit of a rebrand, with Haunted Paradise at www.hauntedparadise.ca. You can buy tickets and rent campfire sites ($75) and Cabana C ($100) on the following website of ours. https://pppa.ticketspice.com/haunted-corn-maze-and-haunted-house-2022 Wow, we have a Haunted Church in our old Barn. It's a scream. We have a bunch of exciting additions this year. Cool new inflatable rules and corn maze and haunted house that light up. Tractor rides are back for the Family Maze in the afternoons on Saturday and Sunday 2-7 pm. Our pumpkin barn will help keep our pumpkins in excellent shape this year. I believe we have 23 types of pumpkins, and a bunch of gourds. We have some extra vendors this year, like Kaze Productions. JAL Creations and Kiley's Kookies.
Remember to get your groups in soon, as we switch to our Haunted corn Maze after Sept. 30, 2022. Most Saturday and Sundays are booked for paintball until the end of Sept. now. There are a few spots left for Laser Tag until the end of Sept.
The pumpkins are looking great with over 20 different varieties, different colours and shapes. They are blooming fully now and we should have some great pumpkins in Sept. After last year, we added a bunch of fertilizer to our corn maze this year, and the corn is growing fast. The corn is a beautiful deep green colour with huge leaves. Most is taller than Kathie (5') and many are well over my head. It grows about a foot a week right now, depending on the amount of heat and rainfall, there is no shortage of fertilizer. The corn maze will be amazing this year. I'm hoping for 8 feet of corn through most of the maze.
Great little video about Paintball Paradise Prince Albert, in partnership with the Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce, as part of #LocallyOwnedYPA promotion. With George and Kathie Lewko. Haunt Online Booking here So paintball is done for 2021, and our Haunt season begins. We have some very exciting additions and changes this year. The haunt is the last 3 weekends of October 15-17, 22-24 and 29-31. Family times are Saturdays and Sundays from 2-7 pm. Our Haunt Nights are 7-11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. We have added private Campfire sites on the evenings of the haunt. You get a private area with your own picnic table and campfire (we supply the wood, so no bon fires) for $75, and we only have a limited number of these sites, so book soon. We have some shooting games this year. $2 for "Humpty Dumpty Bazookaball" Game and $5 for the "Glow in the Dark" paintball shoot. Play the games and win a prize. Don't miss out on our Crab apple and apple pies, made from our own apple trees. The Minidonuts have new flavours this year. Apple Cider, Salted Caramel and Pumpkin Spice. The boneyard is getting bigger too. No tractor rides this year. We have a bunch of additions in and around the corn maze too.
So book your private campfire site ASAP, as we expect them to sell out, and book online for everything else too. https://pppa.ticketspice.com/haunted-corn-maze-and-haunted-house panow.com did a nice article today on our up coming outdoor concert with Jeffery Straker.
